Welcome to Le Food News™ 4.0
I guess it's nice to get one's blog back after others set out to destroy it.
Now, at least I'm ahead of the overall Web world in general, which is merely up to Web 2.0. In contrast, I'm up to Le Food News 4.0.
What I mean is that this is the fourth time I've created this site, having lost all the three years' worth of previous content to a) first a hacker and b) then myself, who stupidly, erroneously deleted my WordPress database over the weekend (May 22-23, 2010). In the process, however, I've now reconfigured the site a bit.
Let me explain.
All posts will still originate here on the main index page, replete with the famous WordPress loop.
But in addition, links to all the posts will also appear by category in the category pages I've set up (Recipes, Reviews, Happenings, People, News), so if you want to browse through the recipes, for instance, just go to that category page (which, of course, is currently empty).
I've also created a page function for readers to send in their articles, reviews, recipes, news events and so on for consideration to be published here. Hop aboard and help out as Le Food News goes 4.0! (Astute readers will note that this is actually 5.0, as I lost another database–and a few posts–today, Sunday, May 30, 2010.)
